Dr. Chuxuan Li is currently a postdoctoral researcher working with Drs. Gilles Peltzer and Seulgi Moon at University of California, Los Angeles, using InSAR to detect tectonic changes associated with permafrost in the Tibet region.

Dr. Li earned her PhD in Earth and Planetary Sciences from Northwestern University in 2024, where she worked on atmospheric river-triggered hydrogeomorphic extreme events.

Her research interests include using state-of-the-science techniques to study extreme events across the ocean, atmosphere, and land surface.
