About
Lauren is a geologist in the Landslide Hazards Program. Her current work focuses on quantifying the cost of landslide losses, specifically economic losses, human injuries, and fatalities.
As a graduate student at the University of Colorado Boulder, her research builds on this work to examine how development patterns shape exposure to landslide hazards over time. She is passionate about using data-driven, reproducible methods to improve disaster communication, resilience planning, and public understanding of landslide risk.
