About
Dr. Lei Wang is an Assistant Professor of Civil Engineering at University of Cincinnati. He has extensive research experience in geotechnical and geological engineering, including geotechnical risk and reliability, geohazards and landslides, underground excavation and tunneling, numerical and centrifuge modeling, earth dams and levees, and sensing and machine learning in geotechnical engineering.
He has published over 90 refereed journal and conference papers. His research has been supported by NSF, NASA, DOT, USDA, USGS, NRC, and NIST. He serves as an editorial board member for many major journals in the field such as Engineering Geology, Computers and Geotechnics, Journal of Cold Regions Engineering, Bulletin of Engineering Geology and the Environment, and Marine Georesources & Geotechnology.
