About
Dr. Yang Li is an assistant professor at Kyushu University in Japan. His research focuses on granular matter and soil mechanics, with particular emphasis on particle breakage mechanics, multiscale effects of particle morphology, and advanced laboratory experimentation.
He was a postdoctoral researcher at Port and Airport Research Institute (Japan), Northwestern University (USA), and the University of Tokyo (Japan). He earned his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the University of Tokyo in Japan. Prior to that, he received his M.Eng. and B.Eng from Tongji University in China.
